I teach all ages. I specialize in child musicianship, violin, ukulele, guitar, songwriting and electronic music production. My teaching style centres around helping each student garner a love of music as an art and a passion and confidence for learning.
Music is a shared language! I quickly integrate negotiating playing duets together as soon as possible,
I teach music to students from 4 years old through adults.
I always try to keep things fun and interesting! Even the most simple song can be placed into a beautiful music context.
While I do have tools I often use, every student's lessons are built for them. We use materials that are fun and help work on specific skills.
I have several music showcases throughout the year. We always practice for them. I use every opportunity to have parents involved!
